Tree Root Sewage Backup — Bellmere QLD

A homeowner in Bellmere contacted us on a Friday evening after toilets started backing up and a foul smell appeared from the laundry drain. We arrived within the hour, ran a CCTV camera through the main sewer line, and identified significant tree root intrusion from a large fig tree approximately 9 metres from the house. The roots had narrowed the pipe to less than 25% of its original bore. We cleared the blockage with high-pressure jet rodding, then relining the entry point where the roots had breached the pipe wall. The job was completed that evening. The homeowner has had no recurrence of the blockage since.
